Vemtr4ckers 4.5 is our most refined SlimeVR-compatible full-body tracking platform yet.

Built around an entirely redesigned 4-layer PCB, Vemtr4ckers 4.5 improves electrical efficiency, signal integrity, thermal performance and mechanical rigidity while retaining full compatibility with the existing Vemtr4ckers 4.x ecosystem.

Each kit is assembled, flashed, tested and packed by Vemtech Applications in Australia, and arrives ready to pair with SlimeVR Server.

What Changed in Vemtr4ckers 4.5?

Completely redesigned electronics

Vemtr4ckers 4.5 uses a new PCB designed from the ground up rather than an incremental revision of the previous board.

The new 4-layer stackup improves signal integrity and significantly reduces electrical crosstalk around critical components, helping provide cleaner and more consistent IMU data during movement.

Cooler and more efficient

Improved power delivery and component selection reduce wasted energy and heat throughout the tracker.

During long-duration testing, Vemtr4ckers 4.5 measured only 3°C above ambient temperature after 12 hours of continuous operation.

Lower operating temperatures reduce unnecessary thermal stress on the electronics and battery during extended sessions.

Improved mechanical rigidity

The redesigned PCB and internal structure provide a more rigid foundation around the IMU and critical electronics.

Reduced flex helps keep the IMU mechanically stable while the tracker is moving, contributing to more consistent tracking behaviour.

Onboard electrical protection

Vemtr4ckers 4.5 includes integrated fuse protection and revised electrical protection throughout the board for more robust charging and everyday operation.

Full 4.x ecosystem compatibility

Although the electronics have been completely redesigned, the external 4.x footprint remains unchanged.

Typical runtime is approximately 9–12 hours per charge.

Actual runtime varies depending on settings, update rate, tracker position, movement, wireless conditions, battery age and charging habits.

Vemtr4ckers 4.5 has been designed to operate more efficiently and at lower temperatures than previous generations, reducing unnecessary power loss during extended sessions.
