Vemtr4ckers 4.5 is a full internal redesign of our SlimeVR-compatible tracker platform, built to deliver a cleaner, cooler, more reliable tracking experience while keeping compatibility with the existing 4.x ecosystem.

The new 4-layer PCB stackup improves signal integrity and reduces crosstalk, helping produce a cleaner IMU response. The electrical layout has been rebuilt from scratch with correctly specified components, functional onboard protection, and improved efficiency throughout the design.

In long-duration testing, Vemtr4ckers 4.5 measured only +3°C over ambient after 12 hours of operation. Lower heat means less stress on the electronics, improved long-term reliability, and better battery health expectations over time.

Runtime varies depending on settings, update rate, use conditions, and battery age, but typical operation is around 9–12 hours.

Externally, Vemtr4ckers 4.5 keeps the proven 4.x footprint, so it remains compatible with existing 4.0/4.x docks, cases, clips, straps, and accessories. Internally, it is a complete rebuild.
